first_imgOhio State banner shows core values.A bombshell report from former ESPN college football insider Brett McMurphy suggests Urban Meyer knew about the the 2015 domestic violence allegations against former wide receiver coach Zach Smith.Meyer’s comments from early last week during Big Ten media days have been called into question following McMurphy’s report. According to the report posted on his Facebook page, McMurphy alleged Meyer knew about the alleged assault of Smith, and made a distinct effort to ignore it.McMurphy then pointed to a set of core values attached to the Ohio State football program.  “…Emblazoned on the wall, are Meyer’s five core values. Among the five – in ALL CAPS – is “TREAT WOMEN WITH RESPECT,” McMurphy wrote.A photo of the banner has gone viral.Core values must mean something totally different in Ohio (and Florida). Wow!
